МГИУ пръв в Русия започва да развива дистанционната форма на обучение. Той е базов ВУЗ на Министерството на образованието на Русия за организация на дистанционно обучение в чужбина - /Заповед No 1048 от 25.10.1994 година - Госкомвуза РФ/. Въпросите, свързани с организацията и провеждането на дистанционното образование се ръководят от Института за Дистанционно Образование при МГИУ /ИДО при МГИУ/, създаден през 1994 година. |
